Aftershock creates “world’s first bubble tea” custom gaming PC

Sadly, the Singapore tech company’s creation isn’t for sale.

In the world of aesthetic computing, the name of the game has been bigger, sleeker, and better tech for the longest time. But Singaporean custom rig specialist Aftershock PC is quenching the “thirst” for something new by creating the GIGABYTE RTX 3080 OC WATERFORCE, also known as the “world’s first bubble tea” gaming PC.

Made in partnership with server solution company GIGABYTE USA, the exotic build boasts top-level specs meshed with milky taro bubble tea-like coolant and replica bobas made out of filter balls swirling around in the reservoir (nope, these aren’t edible!). The rig is glammed up with a primarily pink lighting system and a glow-in-the-dark adhesive of a corgi drinking bubble tea as an homage to the owner’s furry friend.

See the commissioned custom in action below:

Jonathan Teo, Aftershock’s Marketing Lead, told Channel News Asia that the unique rig “took a lot of effort to be customized into the aesthetic achieved.” Assembled by their team in Australia, the boba-inspired computer build cost over $10,000 in “supercharged” premium parts, courtesy of AORUS ANZ.

Take a peek inside the world’s first bubble tea PC through its list of components below:
