The tech giant revolutionized the industry again.
On August 10, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 to the public. These are the latest and most advanced foldables on the market.
Looking back, Samsung gave us a new way to view cell phones. Flip phones were a thing of decades past. Samsung not only brought them back, but the company made them even better. Great, right?
Days before the unveiling, Samsung invited FreebieMNL to an exclusive event. We were one of the first to try the tech giant’s latest. Here’s the scoop. If you’re looking into buying a Flip or Fold, read through this article before making your decision.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip excels at a variety of tasks. It boasts outstanding performance, excellent battery life, and the latest Android version. Yet, it does something that most other phones can’t. It folds in half!
Samsung also gave the phone’s AI camera more processing power. Oh, and the Flip 4 incorporates nightography. This means you can take stunning pictures even in low light.
The Flip 4 has more customization options for the cover screen. You’ll be able to assign matching watch faces to go with your cover screen pic. Speaking of which, the Flip 4 allows you to answer calls and take messages via the cover screen! How cool is that?
Each phone has a matte finish to make the design sleeker. It’s also durable, with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and Armor Aluminum protecting the screen.
It is available in Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, and Blue. The 256 GB model costs P58,990, while the 512 model costs P62,990. If you want the 1TB model, you’ll need to fork over P69,990
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
If you want a device that’s as tech-savvy as you are, then the Fold 4 is for you. To be honest, it’s our personal favorite.
The screen experience on the Fold 4 is like none other. Samsung made the screen wider and reduced the bezels for distraction-free viewing. The camera is now less visible, and the phone has more efficient power consumption.
The Fold 4 features a brighter display for the most brilliant days. Its screen can reach up to 1000 nits. The device also has a wider aspect ratio for improved typing and optimized app usage. Samsung improved its camera to 50MP with 3x optical and 30x space zoom capabilities.
The device has a water resistance rating of IPX8. And like the Flip 4, it also has Gorilla Glass Victus+ and Armor Aluminum, making it the most durable fold to date. All this while still being 17 grams lighter than the Fold 3.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes in phantom black, gray-green, and beige (website exclusive). The storage options are as follows: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB (website exclusive). Prepare P98,990 for the first, P105,990 for the second, and a whopping P119,990 for the third
