“Netflix Games” is now available on iOS devices, one week after its global launch on Android!
This new feature on the Netflix app lets its subscribers play five exclusive games for free, “with no ads, no additional fees, and no in-app purchases.”
The five games available on the app include Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast, and Teeter Up. Note that these games are for “adults only,” so they cannot be accessed on Netflix Kids profiles.
To start playing the games, click on the “All Mobile Games” row on the Netflix homepage or manually search for the games you want to download on Google Play or the App Store. Once the game has been downloaded, you can already start playing on the Netflix app.
In case you’re wondering if you can play on multiple devices using the same account, the answer is yes! Netflix will just notify you once you’ve reached your device limit. You can also free up a slot not in use by going to Netflix.com.
Before Netflix Games became available worldwide, subscribers in Italy, Poland, and Spain got to try the games first. Netflix started testing its games in Poland in August 2021 and in Italy and Spain in September 2021.
“Whether you’re craving a casual game you can start from scratch or an immersive experience that lets you dig deeper into your favorite stories, we want to begin to build a library of games that offers something for everyone,” Netflix said.
“We’re in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us.”
