Lesbian Bed Death: What It Is And What You Can Do About It

Lesbian bed death is a thing, and it gets worse as the relationship progresses.

Somewhere in the timeline of a lesbian relationship, sex goes out the window. It’s called lesbian bed death, and it’s a real thing many lesbian couples go through at some point.

Now, these couples wonder if there’s a solution to it. Some are abandoning the thought of ever having sex with each other. But there are ways to avoid it or fight it once it happens.

Fighting lesbian bed death

All couples, hetero or otherwise, go through issues in the bedroom. For lesbians, though, it can be more challenging. Most women have a higher libido, which makes it hard for them to deal with not having sex with their partners.

When you both realize that you’re already going through a dry spell, you should first talk about it. Sit down wherever you feel comfortable, and try to figure out what’s happening.

Now there are a few reasons why you may not be having sex. It may be because you’re both busy with work, or you’re both tired. It may also be because there is no drive at all from either of you. Whatever the case may be, it’s best to talk it out.

Another thing you can do is to suggest alternatives. Ask your partner if you can masturbate if you’re feeling particularly horny. Follow it up by asking her whether she’s comfortable with you doing it in her presence or not.

You could also both do a little reassessment. You might want different things in bed. It’s possible during a relationship to develop kinks and fetishes. Sharing it with your partner could create a new world of sex for both of you.

Try to be more intimate with each other as well. Non-sexual touch is a great way to reconnect with your girlfriend or wife. Cuddling, kissing, and hugging are examples of non-sexual touches. They could also escalate into something more sexual.

Luckily, it’s preventable

As a couple, you should both be able to realize that you might experience lesbian bed death in the future. But you also have to remember that prevention is better than cure.

To prevent it, always maintain a physical connection with your partner. Whether it’s touching her hair or giving her a 5-minute hug, make your physical presence known.

You could also try new things in bed. Discover each other’s desires. Play sexy games with each other. Be more adventurous when it comes to sex. Keep each other guessing.

These things are pretty doable, and you can discuss them with your partner. Remember to keep an open mind while discussing such things, and be open to suggestions.
