This year might have been a roller coaster of unprecedented events but it’s never too late to create new unforgettable yuletide memories with your loved ones. From having a staycation to sharing sumptuous meals with your loved ones, feel totally at ease as the hotel aligned its hygiene protocols with the World Health Organization’s recommendations, as well as more stringent local regulations set out by the Philippine government.

The hotel group introduced the “Shangri-La Cares” commitment elevating their already rigorous hygiene and safety protocols for all properties worldwide. This promise comprises additional proactive and measured actions built upon already high hygiene and safety standards across the board. Makati Shangri-La has also been awarded a Safeguard Hygiene Excellence Certification in the concluded field audit held by Bureau Veritas (BV).  Attaining this certification requires an extensive field audit of the arrival experience, in-room experience, public spaces, recreation facilities, restaurants, and people.

Sharing hope and love with our COVID-19 heroes

And this Christmas, spreading love and hope is all that we need. As a way of saying thank you to the COVID-19 heroes, Shangri-La Group in the Philippines worked collectively on a CSR initiative called, “A Heartfelt Joy of Christmas”.  At the forefront of the Christmas lobby, there is a special set of trees called the “Trees of Hope” adorned with Christmas ball-shaped greeting card ornaments with messages for the COVID-19 frontliners.
