Heads up, Filipino shopaholics! Amazon revealed on its website that it would offer free shipping promos to the Philippines! You will be eligible for free delivery when your purchases total at least $49 (2,875.66 PHP as of press time).
Filipinos could buy items from the site even before the promo began. But the shipping fees were too expensive for many, so this is a welcome development. However, the free shipping promos only apply to select products.
According to the company, not all items are eligible for free international shipping. Eligible items include those under the following categories: beauty, books, computers and accessories, fashion, home, and toys.
Consumers should scour the site for items tagged with “FREE Shipping to the Philippines” or “Your item qualifies for FREE Shipping.” You can buy more than one item as long as they are all qualified for the promo.
“Once you have a cart with eligible items and meet or exceed the promotion threshold, you will see the Free Shipping option at checkout,” Amazon explains.
As usual, the website will provide delivery time estimates during checkout. How long you wait depends on the item’s availability and location. Also, import duties and value-added tax (VAT) are “not included in the free delivery eligibility calculation,” according to Amazon’s customer warning.

The online retailer didn’t mention a promo end date. We assume it’s not permanent, so make the most of it before it’s gone!
