This special doll was made in honor of Asian culture and the Lunar New Year tradition. The fashion doll’s Instagram account shared that “#Barbie is proud to honor the traditions of the #LunarNewYear celebration with a Signature doll inspired by the holiday.”
Barbie shared a closer look at the signature doll’s details, saying, “The first new moon of the lunar calendar marks the start of fifteen days of family, fireworks, and festivities for many Asian cultures across the world, ushering in good luck in the new year.”
The doll’s outfit includes a delicate teal trim and Chinese knot style buttons and is also accessorized with gold and teal tassel earrings, a bracelet, and black heels.
