Final Fantasy has always been close to gamers’ hearts. Now, the beloved game is celebrating its 35th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the game’s creators did a t-shirt collection with UNIQLO.
It will feature key characters and scenes from Final Fantasy’s 16 titles. Fans can express their individuality with the items in this collection. UNIQLO used battle scenes, pixel art designs, and other details from the series. If you’re a fan of this acclaimed RPG (role-playing game) series, you’ll love all the designs. Check them out here.
Final Fantasy x UNIQLO
There are 16 shirts in the collection, each of which features one of the 16 games in the Final Fantasy series. The shirts will be available in early May in Men’s sizes from XS to 3XL. The entire collection will cost you P12,640, so you may want to save your money for your favorite games. Each shirt will retail for P790.00 apiece.
If you’re a fan of the OG game, cop the FFI shirt featuring its start screen and a Black Mage sprite. FFVII fans will want the game’s shirt as a remembrance of its famed CG cutscenes. If you hero-worshipped Squall Leonhart back in the day, pick up the FFVIII shirt. A photo of the scarred protagonist and his favorite weapon, the Gunblade, is on the front. FFX fans will go crazy for the game’s shirt. It bears the character’s weapons from the opening as well as quotes from Tidus’s monologue.
The Final Fantasy shirts are UNIQLO’s latest pop-culture-themed line. Similar collections include one featuring the anime Jujutsu Kaisen.

The game explained
Since its first title in 1987, Final Fantasy gained attention for its unique battle style. Partnered with a compelling storyline, the series continues to make a mark in the world of gaming. In 2017, Final Fantasy earned a Guinness World Record for being the most prolific RPG series. (The game has over 85 titles and 384 unique songs to date.)
The Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary UT collection will launch on May 6. It will be available in all UNIQLO stores nationwide and on their website.
