Italian luxury house Salvatore Ferragamo tapped 25 personalities around the world to join its “Silk Your Style” campaign, and one of them is Filipino celebrity Heart Evangelista!
“To celebrate the long-standing silk tradition of the house of Ferragamo, we brought together 25 talents to interpret what is decisively the most versatile item in the modern wardrobe: a silk scarf. Discover a 100 ways to wear this sartorial saviour with #SilkYourStyle,” Ferragamo posted on Instagram.
In a separate post, Ferragamo shared Heart’s photo for the campaign which shows the Filipina fashion icon wearing a silk tie and a scarf braided into her hair. “Heart Evangelista is unwaveringly stylish with a classic Ferragamo foulard woven through her braid for a feminine flourish,” they said.
Heart shared the same photo on her IG account and thanked Ferragamo for the opportunity to be included in this project. “Thank you [Ferragamo] for making me a part of your campaign,” she said.
According to Preview Magazine, being included in “Silk Your Style” makes Heart the first and only Filipina to join a global campaign by the Italian brand.
Other style icons included in the campaign are fashion illustrator Jenny Walton, model Andrea Faccio, stylist and video creator Seungju Han, and entrepreneur Savina Chow, to name a few.
