Lee Jung-Jae, the actor who played the role of Seong Gi-Hun or Player 456 in Squid Game, has been named as the newest global ambassador of the luxury brand Gucci.

“With a successful career found upon his great acting performance and sophisticated fashion style, Lee Jung-Jae is loved all over the world as an artist representing Korea. His charisma is similar to Gucci’s philosophy of emphasizing self-expression,” a Gucci official said.

Photos from the announcement show the 48-year-old actor donning pieces from the Gucci Aria collection, which was presented just in time for Gucci’s 100th year anniversary.

Last month, Hoyeon Jung–who played the role of Kang Sae-Byeok or Player 67 in “Squid Game”–was named as the new global house ambassador for Louis Vuitton. Prior to having this role as an ambassador, she also modeled for the brand from 2017 to 2019.
