Indulge in the most luxurious Parisian pieces without flying a single mile.
Synonymous with steadfast, maximalist fashion, Pierre Balmain’s luxury brand has been empowering women with powerful pieces since it was founded in post-war Paris in 1946. There was even a time when Balmain himself boasted his classic couture in the Hotel Intercontinental to a keen Imelda Marcos.
Now, members of the “Balmain Army” don’t have to book a flight to take a firsthand look at the French luxury house’s collections, because a Balmain boutique has just opened up here in the Philippines.
Balmain found its first location inside Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City. “Solaire continues to blaze the trail as we add another world-renowned icon to our roster of exclusives, and introduce the Philippines to the first and only boutique in the country of French fashion tour de force, Balmain,” the high-class establishment writes on social media. “Experience unparalleled, pioneering luxury retail at The Shoppes at Solaire.”
The 105-square meter concept store inside Solaire manifests the energizing ensemble pieces that Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing envisioned for the avant-garde brand’s trajectory. Flaunted inside cream-lined interiors and brightly-lit brass stands, every fashion piece is sure to catch the eye of any elite fashionmonger – just ask Heart Evangelista.
Aside from timeless items, Balmain’s first store in the country also houses its fall-winter 2021 collection. filled with gold and silver fabrics, headrests, and jet setter looks, the seasonal collection is inspired by Pierre Balmain, and his travels to America and London after World War 2, and channels the sensation of freedom through travel as the future starts to look better.
Balmain Paris, Manila is found on the ground floor of the Shoppes Solaire Resort and Casino.
