LOOK: Nike launches first loungewear shoes that urges us to “Just Do Nothing”

Nike, the brand that’s built a goliath sportswear brand behind the philosophy of “Just Do It” recently released a loungewear line that encourages the exact opposite of that — “Just Do Nothing,” the unofficial yet brilliantly accurate ethos of Nike’s new Off-Line collection that urges you to unplug, unwind, and, well, just do nothing.

The first pair, which dropped last August, features a part-mule, part-sandals look that eliminated the heel section of the shoe for no-frills entry and removal. It includes two unique sensory drop-in midsoles, which lets the wearer switch between a snug, static, massage-like fit, or a slack, comfortable nub for prolonged wear time during your slow days.

For the tongue, Nike put a plush, exaggerated exposed-foam padding, while for the midsoles, a beefy EVA foam which completes the thick, comfy look of the lounging shoes.

It comes in dual colors: in sleek and relaxed space gray with electric green embellishments, and in pure-black with streaks of solid jade.

The Off-Line mule was released under Nike’s N. 354 sub-label, and is expected to be the first of many other  “anti-sneakers” catering to the quarantined homebodies out there (us included).

Sadly, the loungewear pair is so far only available through Nike’s SNKRS mobile app and select retailers in European and North American territories, but who knows? Maybe we’d get our turn soon; not that we’re getting tired of waiting during quarantine anyway.
