Miss Earth Philippines 2020 Roxanne Baeyens stunned her online followers after sharing her costumed inspired by Rafaela, a character from the acclaimed mobile game ‘Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’.
Although she has not played the game, Baeyens shared that she read about the character and understood why people grew fond of Rafaela.
“She is sent by heaven to alleviate the suffering in the world, Rafaela descends on the Land of Dawn to heal all pain and punish all evil with the holy light,” she quoted.
“Amidst this pandemic, we all need someone like her. To heal us not only from Covid but also from detrimental effects to our environment,” she wrote.
Parts of the materials used for her costume was from old tires and slippers.
The beauty queen will represent the country in the Miss Earth 2020 pageant this November 29.
