Levi’s, I choose you!
Pokémon’s 25th anniversary isn’t until next week, but fans are already getting a treat through the many exciting collaborations that the legendary Nintendo game has landed in the last couple of months.
The latest of these much-awaited collabs is with none other than classic denim brand, Levi’s, and you can bet that it led to the most amazing set of denim Pokemon drip!
The Levis x Pokémon and Friends collection showcases nineties-inspired outfits featuring Pokémons that was introduced in the maiden season of the classic animated series.
Aside from garments embroidered with various first-generation Pokémons (not-so-spoiler alert: Pikachu dominates the scene), the collection also includes Ash Ketchum’s iconic red and white trucker cap as well as Misty’s signature ensemble consisting of her yellow crop-top, orange suspenders, and jean shorts.
The eye-catcher of the collection is the matching floral trucker jacket and jeans, which show off a print of different Pokémon in a lush, green landscape. Aside from the Pokémon-inspired items, Levi’s also lets you customize certain jeans and t-shirts with laser-etched Pokémon patterns for a more personalized style.
Aside from sealing the deal with Levi’s, Pokémon is also ringing their 25th anniversary across various media, including a virtual concert headlined by lifelong Pokémon fan Post Malone on the 27th.
