ZAYN’s eyewear collaboration is something we could totally “vibez.”
It’s been a busy year for ZAYN. At the beginning of the year, he dropped Nobody is Listening, his third studio album since launching his solo career. Last September, the first-time father celebrated baby Khai’s first birthday, and now ARNETTE just named him as their newest brand ambassador.

The eyewear brand that’s part of Luxottica is releasing a collection co-created by the British singer. Featured in the cool collaboration are sunglass designs inspired by the artist’s creativity – some named after retro cars and his latest music. Plus, the product launch is a whole new approach to sustainable eyewear as it’s made entirely of biobased materials.
“I’m very interested in design and the creative elements of a campaign, so it was quite cool to work with a brand like ARNETTE,” ZAYN said. “The team has been really open and receptive to my ideas and has been a great partner.”
Stylish and Sustainable Eyewear
As stated on the Luxottica website, “All of the models are produced in bio-acetate, a material with a low environmental impact.” The company has always tried to keep sustainability in mind, extending it to their in-store advertising material. Fresh perspectives and nostalgia elements are incorporated in the ZAYN x ARNETTE collection to emphasize the new direction the brand is heading.
The collaboration follows a video game-esque journey through UTOPIA, RETRO-TOWN, and ART WORLD. Each series has its signature and style, like bold square profiles, low-and-wide wing forms, deep-rim metal, exclusive bleached tie-dye colors, and colorful transparent and flash-mirror shades. Branded on the lenses is the graphic Z that represents the artist.
