ICYMI: Shopee Now Has a Loyalty Program

Are you really “adulting” if you don’t have a growing collection of loyalty cards?

Shopee introduced their loyalty program and customers were both surprised (and delighted) to see this feature added to the e-commerce site. As if their affordable prices, frequent sales, and free shipping vouchers were not enticing enough, being incentivized for purchases is a great bonus.

Shopee users were quick to share on social media their tier status after finding out about this feature, which raised queries on how to avail of the program, what the perks are, and the difference between the tiers.

How To Join

Through the loyalty program, users get rewarded with special privileges. There are 4 different tiers: Classic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum — all of which are determined based on the number of purchases you have made within a 6-month cycle. Signing up for an account is free and all registered accounts are automatically qualified to join the program.

Tier Privileges

Aside from Shopee’s regular promos and vouchers, each user is entitled to more discounts, promo codes, and exclusive offers as they level up. To know your tier status, go to your profile on the app and check under your username or click the “Shopee Loyalty” tab. There, you can see which vouchers you are eligible to claim, how many orders you need to maintain your level, and the number of orders needed to unlock the next tier.  Â­Â­

Upgrading Your Tier

New accounts and users with less than 10 completed orders start in the Classic Tier but can upgrade immediately during the current cycle. Users can then enjoy the perks of their upgraded tier status until the end of the next cycle.
