The website of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA), which organized the event, features food and travel packages for you to get some rest and relaxation with your friends or family. The e-vouchers can be used within a year from the date of purchase and may be extended upon request.
“From a 15-day event, we’ve planned a month-long travel mart. We are also including the ancillary services of the properties such as restaurants, bars, banquet packages, spa, gym and pool, and other facilities of the hotel,” HSMA president Benjie Martinez of Bayleaf Hotels said.
Participating hotels and resorts include posh hotels in Metro Manila and luscious resorts in Baguio, Clark, Bataan, and Ilocos. Travelers who don’t want to go far won’t miss out as select establishments in Cavite, Tagaytay, Laguna, and Batangas are included as well. If you want to fly away from your worries, SOS totally got you. Select resorts and hotels in Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo, Boracay, Palawan, and Davao are part of the list, too.
Given that a lot of hotels and resorts across the country were forced to close their doors amid the pandemic, the event aims to give them a boost in sales. That’s why if you can afford it, you should consider traveling local and supporting Philippine tourism players. You get to have some fun and support the Philippine economy at the same time.
