Globe provides free mobile services to customers hit by Typhoon Ulysses

Many Filipinos suffered after Typhoon Ulysses brought destruction to different areas of Metro Manila and Southern Luzon since its landfall on November 10.

Globe Telecom Inc. announced on Thursday that they will be providing free mobile services to their customers that were badly hit by the typhoon.

“With so many Filipinos suffering from the destruction brought by Typhoon Ulysses, customers are in most need of communication assistance from their trusted service provider. Globe is supporting  its mobile customers in areas hit by Typhoon Ulysses with free mobile services,” it said.

Globe prepaid will provide free unlimited texts to all networks and free calls to Globe/TM for three days.

For postpaid users,  credit action will be put on hold until the end of the week to give customers more time to settle their bills.

Areas covered by Globe Telco’s latest efforts are the following:

  • Albay
  • Aurora
  • Bataan
  • Batangas
  • Benguet
  • Bulacan
  • Camarines Norte
  • Camarines Sur
  • Catanduanes
  • Cavite
  • Laguna
  • La Union (Southern portion)
  • Masbate (Burias and Ticao Islands)
  • Marinduque
  • Metro Manila
  • Nueva Ecija
  • Nueva Vizcaya (Central and Southern portions)
  • Occidental Mindoro (Northern portion)
  • Oriental Mindoro (Northern portion)
  • Pampanga
  • Pangasinan
  • Quezon
  • Quirino
  • Rizal
  • Sorsogon
  • Tarlac
  • Zambales

Donating funds to victims of Typhoon Ulysses

Globe also announced that their customers can use their Globe Rewards points to donate to the families and communities affected by Typhoon Ulysses.

On your Globe Rewards app, click All Rewards > Donate and select Ayala Foundation or ABS-CBN Foundation.

Likewise, GCash also accepts donations for typhoon victims.

Using GCash, you can donate funds by tapping ‘Pay Bills’ > Select ‘Others’ > #UlyssesPHAid > Fill in name & amount > ‘Confirm’.
