Roque clarifies that the “GCQ Bubble” is not a lockdown. “We just imposed restrictions on mobility. The economy remains open.” He believes this will result in at least a 25% drop in COVID-19 cases, with 7,757 confirmed cases reported on Sunday, March 21. He adds, “We all know that the tried and tested formula for preventing the further increase in cases of COVID is to stay at home,” after urging the public to stay at home except for essential activity. While the Palace Spokesperson is now in an isolation facility, he invokes his right to privacy in airing his positive test results.
