Watch AcousticTrench’s Covers with His Dog Maple Playing the Drums!

AcousticTrench, a fingerstyle guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, posts guitar, harp, kalimba, and drum covers on YouTube. We usually see him accompanied by his dog named Maple, who sometimes even plays the drums! (Yes, she’s that amazing.) Check out some of this amazing duo’s covers below:

Trench and Maple

Although Trench has been posting videos for years, he doesn’t show his face because he “never wanted to be famous.” He also said that he “[prefers] the focus to be on the music, the instrument, or Maple (the real star!)”

Aside from the guitar, which Trench has been playing for more than twenty years now, he also knows how to play the harp, piano, drums, harmonica, accordion, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, glockenspiel, kalimba, violin, and cello–what a talented guy!

Look at how happy he makes Maple by playing live music:

Speaking of talent, it is not only Trench who makes music in his videos. His best friend, Maple, has also contributed in some covers by playing the drums! Watch the musical duo’s cover of “Take On Me” by a-Ha below:

Maple proves she’s a rock star with this cover of “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. Plus, those shades look great on her!

Kalimba covers

The channel’s most-watched video to date is a kalimba cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which has over 26 million views! It may be short compared to their other videos, but the instrument’s sweet sound and Maple’s calm disposition has got a lot of people pressing the replay button again and again.

Another kalimba cover we love is Trench’s take on “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles. The music, those flowers, and Maple in the video? Perfection.
