Ogie had initially uploaded an Instagram story about his personal take on ABS-CBN series “Linlang,” particularly on Anji’s “pilit” love pairing with Idol PH Season 2 graduate Kice.

He writes (published as is), ”Sa ‘Linlang’ ‘di ba pwedeng syonggalin na yung subplot na nagkakagustuhan sina Anji at Kice? Medyo pilit, eh.

Ang taas na ng kaba mo sa mga twists tapos bigla silang lalabas na parang wala namang chemistry o baka sa ibang seyre na lang sila magpakyut siguro.”

He finished it with, “Nagmamarunog, Ogie Diaz.”

Anji’s reaction to Ogie Diaz

Following this, Anji then graced a Radyo 630 interview with DJ Jhai Ho on Sunday, October 15, wherein she was asked to react on Ogie’s opinion.

Like mga one hour and a half.

“And then about that din, actually, I got bashed. Kasi I posted, actually, I was sexually harassed on another platform. FB (Facebook) yata yun

“I was sexually harassed, and then I was there to like call my Sunshines and told them na ‘You know, huwag na nating patulan kasi at the end of the day, ‘di naman natin sila kilala. They’re just there to judge us.’”

Sunshine is the collective name used by Anji’s fanbase.

Did Anji Salvacion take a swipe at Ogie Diaz through X?

While addressing the issue, Anji has also belied claims that her tweet published on Wednesday, October 11, was not intended for Ogie.

She says, “Ang gagaling ng bashers, kinonnect nila yung tweet ko sa sinabi ni Mama Og. ‘Tapos ako, ‘Huh? Wala naman akong ginawa. Wala naman akong sinabing ganun kay Mama Og…’”

Anji then adds that she finds explaining hard for people who “believe what they believe in.” With that, she says,” I just let them be and then I don’t talk anymore.”

Anji is one of the cast of ABS-CBN’s “Linlang,” a Dreamscape Entertainment series headlined by Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, and JM de Guzman.

It is one of the new Filipino releases available on streaming platform Prime Video.
