“Annaliza” Stars Andrea Brillantes, Kyline Alcantara Reunite With Denise Laurel In BLACKPINK Concert

Their reunion comes nine years after their series ended!

“Annaliza” stars reunite on a rare occasion!

The show’s lead stars—Andrea Brillantes, Kyline Alcantara, and Denise Laurel—had an unplanned reunion at the BLACKPINK concert on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

The three worked together in the series “Annaliza,” a modern adaptation of the ‘80s drama series headlined by Julie Vega. Brillantes played the title role, with Laurel as her mother and Alcantara as her villainous stepsister.

Alcantara posted the stories on her Instagram stories after the concert.

In one of the photos, both Brillantes and Alcantara kissed Laurel on the cheeks.

The last time the three actresses were together was in March 2014, the month when “Annaliza” wrapped up its run on ABS-CBN.

Before Annaliza stars reunite

Aside from Brillantes, Alcantara, and Laurel, “Annaliza” was also headlined by Kaye Abad, Patrick Garcia, Carlo Aquino, and Zanjoe Marudo. The series had a successful run; its original 13-week run was extended to 10 months and was able to beat four shows from the rival network.

In fact, it was exactly nine years before they reunited as their series ended in March 2014.

Brillantes and Alcantara would later reunite in the 2015 series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” as teen stars.

Before the “Annaliza” stars reunited during BLACKPINK’s concert, they had already been doing different characters on TV.

At present, Laurel and Brillantes remain with ABS-CBN. Brillantes is touted as one of the premiere Kapamilya actresses of her generation with Francine Diaz and Belle Mariano. Brillantes is set to headline the iWant series “Drag You And Me.” She is also rumored to play the modern Dyesebel.

Laurel, on the other hand, continues to do off-beat roles in ABS-CBN teleseryes like “The Better Half,” “The Haunted,” and “Flower of Evil.”

Meanwhile, Alcantara left ABS-CBN in 2017 and transferred to GMA Network in the same year. She is under the management of Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

Alcantara’s love team with Mavy Legaspi is part of Sparkle Sweethearts. They currently headline the digital series “Zero Kilometers Away” and are set to lead the upcoming primetime series “Luv Is: Love At First Read.”
