A lot of blunder can happen on live television, and just one of the funnier mistakes committed on-air was Bianca Gonzalez’s during the live episode of “The Voice Teens” on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
It was after she accidentally addressed the show’s contestants as “housemates!”
An X (formerly Twitter) user has uploaded a clip on the platform, showing Bianca and co-host Robi Domingo during the live shows of the program.
On cue, Bianca can be heard saying, “Siyempre, para sa ating mga natitirang teen housemates, you know this, may chance pa kayong magpatuloy.”
The video uploader paid attention to a slight mistake, captioning the post with: “Excited yarn may lakad ka talaga parang nagmamadali ikaw na yata magiging grand opening sa ‘PBB Gen 11’ hahahaha chareng [laughing emoji] @iamsuperbianca.”
As a response, Bianca has quote-retweeted the post to say: “SORRY NA PO [crying emoji, peace emoji, melting emoji] halong kaba at auto default at tensyon!!!!! Huhu. Salamat sa panonood!”
Bianca is gearing up to lead the set of hosts for the new and upcoming season of “Pinoy Big Brother.” The ensemble is composed of Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Melai Cantiveros.
While Bianca shares a good working relationship with the new generation of hosts, she could not help but reminisce about the chemistry she had with the original hosts—Toni and Mariel.
In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Bianca says, “Parang ang tingin ko sa kanila parang baby brothers and baby sisters na hanggang pagtanda namin parang ate ako.
“Iba pa rin talaga yung dating, power, command, and chemistry din noong panahon na si Toni, Mariel, ako yung nag-host ng early years ng ‘PBB.’”
She adds that while the new set of hosts have proven their prowess, the original ones have long established their command in hosting—a thing that Bianca took notes from.
“Hindi ko siya ma-co-compare, I can’t say na one is better than the other kasi nag-iba na rin ang panahon. I’m sure mag-agree din yung mga sumubaybay na iba talaga. Iba yung OG kumbaga. Iba rin yung galing nung dalawa na ibinibigay nila. Even me when I watched them, ang dami kong natututunan.”
Bianca was initially a housemate for the first-ever celebrity edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2006. After her third runner-up finish, she returned as a host in the ensuing season—joining Toni and Mariel as one of “Kuya’s Angels.”
In 2022, Bianca then took the role of main host for the 10 season of the reality show—”Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10.”
