Dynamic “Darna” duo Jane de Leon and Janella Salvador are set to grace the screen once again in their a film titled “How to Be A Good Wife.”
The announcement by production label The IdeaFirst Company on November 13 featured a photo of the actresses alongside director Jun Robles Lana.
The caption read, “J x J x J = Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon in a new film by Jun Robles Lana! HOW TO BE A GOOD WIFE. Also starring Ms. Susan Africa. Filming soon.”
Janella and Jane shared the news on their social media accounts, expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming project.
Janella jokingly said, “Excited to work on this new film with Ms. Susan Africa and [hindi ko kilala].
She then replied to her own post saying, “Chareng SO HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU AGAIN MWAH @Imjanedeleon.”

Additional details, such as the plot, supporting cast, and release date, are yet to be revealed. But, Direk Jun teased that the script is “smartly and deliciously written” and that it’s “not the story you expect it to be.”
Jane and Janella first joined forces in the ABS-CBN superhero series “Darna,” where Jane played the iconic role of Darna, and Janella portrayed her formidable archnemesis, Valentina. The duo’s on-screen chemistry during their previous project had left fans wanting more.
