Kyline Alcantara has unfollowed ex-fling Mavy Legaspi and his parents Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legazpi on Instagram.
Netizens noticed this on Tuesday, May 21, 2024—just almost the same time they noticed that the actress had simultaneously shared a similar photo of a restaurant with basketball player Kobe Paras.
Prior to this, Kyline has also unfollowed Mavy’s twin Cassy—with reasons still unknown as of this writing. However, while Kyline no longer follows the Legaspi family, Mavy, Zoren, and Carmina still follow the 21-year-old actress.
MavLine—as fans call them—has been sailing well and good. But their romance and tandem have grown cold only after Kyline unfollowed Cassy in August 2023.
In November 2023, it can also be recalled that Carmina have posted a cryptic message on X for her kids, which goes, “People can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumors about you but they can never take away your good deeds.”
“Because no matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by those who know you best.”
On the same day, Kyline seemingly alluded to Carmina’s tirades by dropping a simple, “I knew it” post on X. Days later, Kyline has yet again dropped a cryptic post that reads, “I was taught that keeping quiet kept the peace. Until I realized, [whose] peace is it keeping.”

Netizens have flocked Kyline’s Instagram’s comment section after they took notice of her photo, which is very similar to Kobe’s.
Uploaded on Sunday, May 19, 2024, Kyline and Kobe both posted a restaurant in Makati—both in dim lights—which hinted that they might actually be in a brewing romance.
One netizen comments, “hala are you with kobe?” while another IG user writes, “Wow mukhang may nagpapa inspire ngaun kay [Kyline].”
If this case be true, then Kyline’s post indicates that she’s finally out again in the dating scene. Before this, she was linked to Mavy for years—having started their platonic relationship around 2018 when they both signed under GMA Network for the weekend variety show “Studio 7.”
Three years later, in 2021, Kyline and Mavy sparked dating rumors, when the actor seemingly soft-launched Kyline through an Instagram reel. It comes with a caption, “They say, ‘happiness is having dimples’ but to me, happiness is being around her.”
