Are Carmina Villarroel’s Tweets About Son Mavy Legaspi’s Rumored Split From Kyline Alcantara?

Is Carmina alluding to the current controversy of her son, Mavy?

Carmina Villarroel seems to have subtly addressed her son Mavy Legaspi’s rumored breakup with Kyline Alcantara through a series of tweets. 

On November 25, Carmina released a photo intended for Mavy and Cassy Legaspi. The photo refers to a black-and-white picture of Morgan Freeman attached with a personal message for the twins. 

It reads, “People can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumors about you but they can never take away your good deeds. 

“Because no matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by those who know you best.” 

In a succeeding tweet, Carmina has shared another photo with a quote, “Mom knows best.” 

While Carmina left the tweets unspecified, there were a few netizens who quickly associated them to the ongoing rumor that Mavy and Kyline had already gone their separate ways. 

Even before Carmina’s tweets, Kyline has also dropped a cryptic post that reads, “I knew it.” But just like Carmina’s, her tweet remained vague. 

Netizens link Mavy to Dasuri Choi 

The rumor mill started when a TikTok video resurfaced, showing Mavy and Cassy on a seemingly double date with “Eat Bulaga!” co-hosts Dasuri Choi and Michael Sager.

In another angle, Mavy can be seen sitting next to Dasuri, while Cassy and Michael are both sitting adjacent to them. 

Carmina’s husband and father to the twins, Zoren Legaspi, even shared some snippets from the said dinner. In his post, it can be noted that Mavy, Cassy, Dasuri, and Michael were actually accompanied by two more friends, Winwyn Marquez and Arra San Agustin, who are also their co-hosts in “Eat Bulaga!” 

Back in June, Kyline confirmed in an interview with Boy Abunda that her relationship with Mavy was in the early stages of courting. 

Together, Mavy and Kyline headlined GMA-7’s “Luv Is: Love At First Read.”
