South Korean actor Park Seo-joon has reportedly been cast in “Captain Marvel 2.”

According to an exclusive report from Korean entertainment outlet Star News, a source from the film industry confirmed that Park Seo-joon received an offer to be part of the Brie Larson-starrer film.

The source also revealed that PSJ went through an internal review process which he successfully completed soon after.

While there is no definite date yet, the report stated that Seo-joon will leave for the United States in the second half of 2021 to start filming his scenes for the superhero film.

Meanwhile, another Korean news outlet, Newsen, reached out to PSJ’s agency Awesome ENT to confirm the reports but declined to give any, saying “No comment.”

Should Park Seo-joon be part of the upcoming Marvel film, he will become the second South Korean actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Last May, Marvel Studios released the official teaser for the “Eternals” which saw Ma Dong-seok as part of the star-studded cast.

Park Seo-joon is currently busy filming his movie “Concrete Utopia.”

Park Seo-joon is known for dramas such as “She Was Pretty,” “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” and “Itaewon Class,” as well as films such as “Midnight Runners” and “Divine Fury.”

The Marvels” is slated to be released in 2022.
