A parody on the children’s classic, this musical adventure will make you laugh from start to finish. If the leading man looks familiar to you, you might know him from his signature line, “as you wish” from his other period film The Princess Bride.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)

Andy Samberg may be known for his work on SNL and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but this mockumentary about a former boy band member trying to retain his celebrity status is still worth the watch. It has a lot of celebrity cameos, too.

Game Night (2018)

A game night between couple friends that goes horribly wrong, this movie has so many plot twists that you’ll never guess how the story ends. Plus, it solidifies how versatile of an actress Rachel MacAdams is.

These movies are proof that just because a movie didn’t please the critics and break box office records doesn’t mean it’s not worth the watch. You shouldn’t judge a movie by its reviews. You might even discover a new favorite by giving underrated gems a chance.
