‘I Feel So Blessed’: Mark Hoppus Announces He Is Cancer-Free

Months after being diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 announced that he’s now cancer-free!

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer-free! Thank you, God and universe and friends and family and everyone who sent kindness and love,” he said.

“Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day and I feel so blessed.”

In July, Mark shared the good news that his chemotherapy treatment is working and that both the medicine and well-wishes he’s been receiving “are destroying this cancer.”

The Blink-182 frontman first opened up about his cancer diagnosis in June, saying that he’s been getting treatment for months already.

“It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time, I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this. I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive,” he posted on Twitter.
