Quarantunes: Here’s five albums from 2020 that we love

Music has the ability to express emotions we couldn’t bring out of ourselves, or can simply be the mood lift we need from a terrible day at work. Whatever the reason, music is so part of our lives it’s impossible to not go around without knowing a tune.

This year proved to be an amazing time for the femme fatale, as most in this list is from female musicians.

Here’s a rundown of our favorite albums so far in 2020. Hope you can add these to your personal quarantine tunes!

Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia couldn’t have come at a better time, especially when the world needed some uplifting from some heavy news. The album’s attempt at disco-pop deemed successful as it’s the perfect soundtrack to an online weekend wine night with friends – dancing and singing included.

folklore by Taylor Swift

Critics have called this Taylor Swifts best album yet – and for good reason. Previously, Swift released several pop albums but for folklore, the multi-awarded singer-songwriter goes back to her country roots and brings a softer, more vulnerable side to her.
