Filipina singer-songwriter Reese Lansangan was recently featured in a digital billboard located in Times Square, New York City!
The 30-year-old musician shared about the amazing news on Twitter and Instagram, expressing her joy and excitement. “This is my face in Times Square, NYC. I repeat. Times Square NYC. I am shaking as I type this. #Reese2ndAlbum,” she tweeted.
On Instagram, Reese posted more about the Spotify EQUAL Music Program advertisement she appeared on. “What is this feeling????????!!!!??? That’s my face in Times Square, this is not a drill!!!!!!” she posted.
Other Asian female artists that were featured are Indonesian R&B singer Niki and Singaporean electronic music singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko.
Last year, Reese was also featured in a campaign for the United States of America’s National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) with her song “A Song About Space.” She described the song as her “open letter to the universe” back in 2016.
