Should the opportunity present itself, Sarah Geronimo will take the chance to meet and collaborate with Jungkook—one of the members of the all-male South Korean pop group BTS.
The 35-year-old Popstar Royalty revealed this in a tweet on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, as she admires the musical and performative prowess of the K-pop idol.
As an answer to a fan query about which particular boy group does he want to work with, Sarah quote-retweeted, “I love JUNGKOOK. I think he is an amazing artist. Ang galing niya sobra [smiling emoji].”
The tweet, which immediately gained a lot of reaction and retweets, was then nodded further by Lea Salonga who comments, “Grabe siyaaaaaaa! Strong agree!!!”
Sarah has received a lot of support from the K-pop fans, as they also look forward to having a Sarah Geronimo and Jungkook collaboration in the future.
Sarah is currently in the United States for the Billboard Women in Music 2024—wherein she was acknowledged as a Global Force Honoree. Such a merit was handed to her on Thursday, March 7, 2024 for her important contributions in the music industry.
Sarah joined other 12 important female musical personalities, with Karol G being hailed as the 2024 Woman of the Year. Other female musicians who were recognized are Charli XCX, Ice Spice, Newjeans, and Kylie Minogue.
