“The Marvels” Seem To Hint At Another Multiversal Cameo In Latest Promo

An old character from the “X-Men” franchise might be making an appearance.

The release of “The Marvels” is around the corner, and while the plot remains under wraps, it has been teased that the film may involve some multiverse elements and a possible appearance by the X-Men.

The known details about the film so far revolve around Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan joining forces as their powers become linked. Yet, a recent promotional clip suggests that multiverse shenanigans might be in store.

In the clip, Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica, expresses concern, saying, “There’s a different reality bleeding into ours.” This phrase has led to speculation that the movie could explore multiple timelines and Earths. Fans last saw Marvel tackle the multiverse in “Loki,” “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

The ad tells fans to “be there for what comes next,” as the text fades away, the ‘X’ remains on the screen, with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury proclaiming, “They’re here.”

The recent revelation that Kamala (Iman Vellani) is a mutant in the “Ms. Marvel” series has fueled speculation that the X-Men could make an appearance in “The Marvels.”

At the 0:12 mark in the promo, a character in a white, red, and gold suit resembling Binary’s appearance in the comics can be seen in front of Monica. It’s worth noting that Carol Danvers also donned a similar outfit and used the name Binary in an X-Men comics.
