Sparkle actress Gabbi Garcia enters a new era when it comes to her hairstyle as she sports full bangs and a new hair color.
It was on April 17 when she first “launched” her new look through a series of selfies she posted on Instagram.
Gabbi wrote in the caption, “car traffic selfies ft my bangs [scissors emoji]”
In an interview with the media during the pH Care Intimate Bloom Day on April 24, FreebieMNL asked Gabbi what inspired her to sport a new look.
Gabbi first said, “It’s a change of look, new era, charot!”
She then explained, “But you know, change is nice, I’ve always been known as the girl who has black hair na mahaba, di ba?
“I wanted to change something maybe because I’m 25, we’re growing, we’re getting wiser, and parang it’s an indication na it’s a different era now.”
Now, Gabbi is just excited to style her new hairstyle while acknowledging that it can actually be hard to maintain bangs.
She continued, “I’m excited to explore more looks with French bangs and everything, and I’ve been loving it.
“It’s so hard pala to maintain bangs, ‘no? Ngayon ko lang na-experience. Although I’ve tried like curtain bangs before pero ngayon lang talaga yung pa-full effect so it’s hard.
“But, tiis ganda for the kaartehan!”
FreebieMNL then asked if she was preparing for a new role with her new hair.
She only answered, “Ahm… no naman. Let’s see!”
Gabbi is one of the ambassadors of pH Care with fellow Sparkle artist Ysabel Ortega and Kapamilya stars Belle Mariano and Kaila Estrada.
