This P349 Shopee Toy Camera is Cute and Functional

Anyone these days can delve into photography, including kids. If you’re a parent with an aspiring photographer or a kid-at-heart who’s just looking for a cheap mini camera to play around with, we found the perfect toy for you. Unlike other toy cameras, this one is functional and will prod children to stay off their phones.

We know film cameras and Polaroids are trendy options, but they fall on the pricier side. In addition to the camera itself, you’ll also have to purchase film rolls and sheets. Having your photos developed is another expense you’ll have to consider, which could be inconvenient if you don’t have access to a dark room. And while using your smartphone’s built-in camera is a great way to hone photography skills, it doesn’t provide the same feeling when clicking a physical shutter.

Insert this mini digital camera on Shopee that only costs P349. It comes in cute pastel colors like pink, green, and blue, and is an affordable point-and-shoot camera. For reference, it’s about the size of a GoPro, webcam, or dashcam, making it compact and portable. The box includes a charging cable, a manual, and a lanyard for easy carrying. You’ll need an SD card to store the media in, which is sold separately.

Obviously, it won’t have the same advanced functionalities as a DSLR camera, but it’s much simple to operate. It should go without saying you shouldn’t expect much from a mini digital camera with a 640×480 image resolution. You do, however, get what you pay for as it can take photos, record videos, and even play an off-brand Snake game on the device. The features are comparable to those of a low-end smartphone or something from the early 2000s.

For only P349, the JYC kids’ camera is an ideal gift for young ones and casual photographers. You won’t end up with high-quality photos, but it’s still fun to play with, nonetheless. It also makes for a pretty display when it’s not in use.
