Jake Ejercito Joins Cast Of “Can’t Buy Me Love”

Jake is the latest addition in DonBelle’s primetime show

Jake Ejercito is set to breathe life to a new character in the hit Kapamilya series “Can’t Buy Me Love.” 

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the official Facebook page of the 33-year-old actor announced his upcoming appearance in the series. 

As netizens are still guessing on what his character will be, his episodes are yet to air and details about his role remains under wraps. 

In his post, the caption teases, “Ano ang magiging papel niya sa buhay nina Bingo at Caroline? ABANGAN.” 

Bingo and Caroline are the respective characters played by its lead stars, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.

The Instagram account of ABS-CBN PR also posted a sneak peek of Jake on the set.

Based on the photos, Jake is shooting his scenes on the warehouse owned by Auntie Cathy (Celeste Legaspi), giving the impression that his character may be related to Caroline (Belle) and Irene (Maris Racal).

“Can’t Buy Me Love” continues its sail

“Can’t Buy Me Love,” which started airing on October 2023, is currently the most-watched series on iWantTFC and has been consistently on Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows in the Philippines. 

As Bingo and Caroline’s relationship progresses, new faces are set to spice up the story further. 

One recent inclusion in the show is Rafael Rosell who plays the role of Sherwin Yucuengco. 

Jake is next to enter the picture as the viewers are to meet his character soon.

The project also serves as Jake’s follow-up series after his special participation in the primetime series “Linlang,” starring Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman, and Paulo Avelino.
