Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gives His Personal Pick-Up Truck To A Navy Veteran

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave one of his fans a massive, early Christmas gift.

During a special screening for his new film “Red Notice,” the 49-year-old actor surprised Oscar Rodriguez–a Navy veteran and personal trainer–by giving him his personal, custom-designed, Ford pick-up truck.

“Today was a good day. Merry Christmas, [Oscar,] and enjoy your new truck,” The Rock wrote in an emotional Instagram post.

The Rock said that his initial plan was to give away the Porsche Taycan he drove in “Red Notice” as a gift to a fan. However, because Porsche said no, he decided to give away something of his own.

“I wanted to do something big… something massive… something unforgettable for one fan… I’ll give away my personal custom truck as [a] gift. My baby.”

He then shared the story of how he chose Oscar to be the recipient of his “massive” gift.

“I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me. [He] takes care of his 75-year-old mom, [is a] personal trainer, [a] leader at his church, provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence, a proud & humble Navy veteran, and [a] kind human being,” he said.

“Oscar said it right, just before he drove away: it’s just love. That’s all it is, brother. Just love. Go enjoy your new truck dude and Merry Christmas to you and your family!”

Upon finding out that the custom truck is now his, Oscar sank to the ground and cried tears of joy before giving The Rock a big hug.

“Hugging [The Rock] is worth a thousand trucks,” Oscar said. “I could have gone home content and satisfied knowing I got a bear hug from Dwayne Johnson, A Living Legend. Cheers to you brother.”
