The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 edition has swiftly come and gone, but the sweet words of supports for 1st Runner Up Maureen Wroblewitz from boyfriend Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo is just now leaving the whole Internet love-struck.

On Facebook, the 20-year-old actor and singer poured his heart out to Maureen who represented Pangasinan during the pageant.

In the build leading up to this year’s edition of Miss Universe Philippines, JK also rallied his followers to vote for Maureen through the Miss Universe mobile app. Wittingly written like a fan obsessed with his crush, JK’s caption under a photo of Ms. Pangasinan made social media users chuckle:

Hi po gud pm sa inyong lahat paki download po yung miss universe ph app tapos paki vote po yung crush ko na si Maureen Christa Wroblewitz para po pansinin niya na po ako. Panget po yung mga hindi po susuporta sa kanya. Salamat po.

This, despite the fact that the only account JK follows on Instagram, belongs to Maureen.

At the end of last Thursday’s event, JK was still seen on social media gushing over his partner’s accomplishments. Aside from securing the first runner-up spot, Maureen also bagged the special awards Miss Air Asia Philippines and Miss Hennan Resort.

“Congratulations kay Ms. Pangasinan!!! Ikaw pa rin ang Ms. Universe ko,” JK wrote, followed by the heart emoji.

Cebu City’s Beatrice Luigi Gomez won the crown and the chance to represent the country at this December’s Miss Universe pageant in Israel.
