Saweetie Will Make Her ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut This Month

The icy season is here! Rapper Saweetie will make her debut as a musical guest on the longest-running sketch-comedy series in the US, “Saturday Night Live,” this month. She will be joined by “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” actor Simu Liu as a host in a new episode on November 20, 2021.

“Saturday Night Live” will also have Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift as guest performers this month. Meanwhile, Kieran Culkin and Jonathan Majors will host the show on November 6, 2021, and November 13, respectively.

November is a busy month for Saweetie, who just made an appearance on another late-night show this week. On November 4, she performed “Faking Love” with Brazilian singer Anitta live on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” She will also host and perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards on November 14.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Saweetie’s debut studio album “Pretty B***h Music,” originally set for release earlier this year. The 28-year-old rapper decided to postpone its release to make additional changes to the tracks included in the album.

“It was supposed to come out this month, but I was really living with it and one of my goals is for people to really feel something with every song so I had to go back and reconstruct some songs,” she said in June 2021. “Just know that I’m a perfectionist and it’s on the way.”

Although the album hasn’t come out yet, four singles from her upcoming album have already been released, including “Tap In,” “Back to the Streets,” “Best Friend,” and “Fast (Motion).”
