Four Food Places To Visit When In Gateway, Cubao

An amazing food adventure awaits every foodie at Gateway Mall 2!

Cubao is one of the busiest places in the metro. Now, it also houses one of the most exciting gastronomic experiences for bone-weary civilians. This remains a fact, evidently established by those who constantly seek their best bites in the area.

Its reputation as the go-to haven of every foodie lives up, and that’s truer now that the famous Gateway Mall opened various restaurants and food places to give all visitors warm, hearty eats.

If you happen to be at Gateway Mall, here are some food stops you need to check out:

Tim Ho Wan

Some days usually call for dim sums, and just one of the good bets for this kind of craving is Tim Ho Wan’s famous selection of Chinese treats.

Located on the ground floor of Gateway Mall 2, Tim Ho Wan is ready to serve the best of the best, such as pork and shrimp dumplings, tofu pork floss, and the famous baked barbecue pork buns.

Hawker Chan

Once done with the appetizers, foodies are now ready for heavy devouring at the Michelin-recognized Hawker Chan. A selection of roasted meats, signature noodles, rice, and the “underrated” peanut buchi make up for an entire feast—Hong Kong style.

The opening of Hawker Chan’s 14th store also made way for the introduction of its “Merienda Bowls and Platefulls.” These items are great options for anyone who wants to go for an affordable dining experience. Note, however, that this promo is available only on weekdays, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Pound

Should you be craving a quick but heavy meal, then Pound’s chicken wings, pasta, and burgers will surely fit your liking.

Dubbed as the “Destroyer of Diets,” Pound then takes every foodie to a snacking experience filled with flavors, such as truffle fries, backyard cheeseburger, and pound foie gras that just brings a new level of fun in eating, be it just by yourself, with barkada, or with loved ones.

Llaollao

Of course, every food adventure cannot slip without good sugar in the end. Some go for ice cream, a slice of cake, or frozen yogurts. Speaking of a nice fro-yo, Llaollao’s long lines are there for a justifiable reason.

Customers flock for their customizable froyo and sanum in flavors that speak so much like a distant childhood. And so, if you happen to be in a sugar rush, then a cup of Llaollao compensates well for the long lines it usually attracts.

Tim Ho Wan, Hawker Chan, Pound, and Llao llao are food places brought by one of the Philippines ‘leading and largest, multi-brand, lifestyle, F&B group, FooDee Global Concepts.
