Handmade Gifts For Your Significant Other

Want to give your significant other a nice gift but don’t have a budget for it?

It’s better to go meaningful and make something straight from the heart. There are tons of craft projects that you can try that will hopefully show the leading lady or main man in your life how much you care for them.

If you’re stuck on those anniversary or Valentine’s gifts, try out these few suggestions:

Letter heart

Give your partner the ultimate kilig moment by gifting them a heartfelt, letter heart! All you need is a kraft piece of paper and a pen. Start by folding the sides in until there is an empty rectangle space in the middle. Write your letter in that space and be prepared to give it to your partner. You can also try decorating the outside of the letter with twine and cute stickers for a bit of pizzazz.

Photo accordion book

Put together your best photos with a personalized photo accordion book. It’s best to approach this project with a lot of tools and materials, like a book board, scissors, markers, pens, and other decorative items. You can choose to keep it simple or go completely bold — it really depends on how you want to frame your significant moments together.

Shadow box

Display your love for all to see by crafting up a couple’s shadow box. These can include virtually anything; it can be a collection of pictures or mementos like movie and concert tickets or it can simply be a display of your names. Don’t be afraid to get creative and include all the things that are special to you two!

Adventure scrapbook

Celebrate your past (and future) adventures with your number one by making your very own adventure scrapbook! You can fill the first few pages with trips you’ve already been on, and leave future pages empty for all the possibilities. Use as much paper, color, stickers, and washi tape as you want; it’s a book purely meant to appreciate all the time you’ve spent and will spend together. Take it a step further and pencil in savings trackers, destination lists, and deadlines to ensure that you go on that next trip.

Exploding memory box

Show your lover your enthusiasm for them with an exploding memory box. These are often filled with letters, pictures, and other cute, fun things that will remind you both of your best moments together. There are tons of tutorials on Youtube on how to make one, but you basically just need scissors, cardboard, tape, and a lot of colorful paper.
