It is only a matter of days before everyone puts another year behind to welcome a new one. Usually, people just do a quick reminiscing of the past year through Spotify Wrapped, a lengthy year-end essay on Facebook, or a quick montage on Instagram—and that is all.
After that, the majority of the people face another year head-on and go about their yearly planning, of course, in consideration of their leave counts and available holidays.
So, for anyone who is already organizing the upcoming year as early as now, here’s the official list of Philippine holidays in 2024:
Note that separate proclamations for Eid’l Fitr (end of Ramadan) and Eid’l Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) are yet to be announced after the Islamic holidays have been forwarded by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos to the Office of the President.
As 2024 promises a decent number of long weekends, it is only right to fill in those unused leaves and maximize the fun away from work. So block off your calendars wisely!
