As shared by a Facebook page, the deemed “Garments Capital of the Philippines” has been allowed to operate again after quarantine measures temporarily put it out of business early this year.
The infamous Taytay Mega Tiangge, also known as the IGPAI Garments Center, is open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM, although each kiosk’s operating hours may vary as they see fit. Shoppers are also required to fill out a Health Declaration Form and submit to temperature checks upon entering the center. They are also required to wear face masks and face shields at all times, as well as observe social distancing, which might be a challenge, given that there’s a great deal in every corner.
Just like the old days, you can score cheap and quality finds from stores that sell branded, imported, and wholesale apparel. According to experienced shoppers, the kiosks offer better deals during the weekdays compared to the weekends as there are fewer customers around.
