With everything you have on your plate, you might forget to pack a few essentials. While you can go out and buy temporary stuff from nearby stores, you can make a lot of savings by making sure you have everything you need packed. To make your staycation less stressful, here’s a list of must-have items you should have in your bags:

Toiletries

From travel-sized shampoo bottles to soap, toothpaste to your skincare routine products, bringing some toiletries with you is a total must in every staycation. While the place you’re staying at might have products you can use for free, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Hand sanitizer

It seems that the ongoing pandemic has turned most people into germaphobes, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Having a small bottle or two in your arsenal gives you some peace of mind.

Face mask

Face masks are part of the new normal, and it’s essential to have some packed in your bag just in case. Establishments won’t allow you to enter their premises if you’re not wearing one after all.

Slippers

While you may have fancy slip-ons or sneakers packed for your Insta-worthy pictures, having some comfy slippers with you can do wonders for your feet. After a tiring day of activities (or if you want just to laze around all day), you’ll feel more relaxed in some good old slippers.

Swimwear

If the place you’re going to has a pool or is near the sea, you and your companions might end up swimming. Some sites don’t allow people to get in the water if they’re not wearing proper swim attire, so it’s best to pack one just in case.

Powerbank

While there will probably be electric outlets in the place you’re going, there’s still a chance you might end up chilling in an area with no outlets available. Having no phone battery can be a total hassle, so you should have a powerbank ready.

With these items in your arsenal, you can rest easy knowing you have everything you need. You can just order some food, and you’re ready to sit back, relax, and enjoy your staycation. Have fun!
