Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, HIMYM, New Girl to leave Netflix by December 31

Prison Break, Sons of Anarchy, Family Guy, and Full Metal Alchemist are all set to say goodbye as well.

Say bye-bye to your favorite binge-worthy shows, because some of the biggest titles are due to depart Netflix by the end of the month.

Beloved family comedy “Modern Family,” which just wrapped up its eleventh and final season last year, joins the longest-running primetime medical drama, “Grey’s Anatomy,” in bidding farewell to the streaming platform by December 31.

Popular sitcoms “How I Met Your Mother” and “New Girl” will also be gone by the turn of the calendar. These are pretty long series, so you better binge-watch fast!

What’s more, other drama series such as “Prison Break” and “Sons of Anarchy” are also leaving Netflix by New Year’s Eve. Even “Full Metal Alchemist” and “Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood,” which have been on the platform for quite some time, won’t be spared from the post-Christmas purge. Talk about taking shows for granted.

While this is certainly a sad sight to see, and during the holidays no less, at least there are still loads of content coming to Netflix this month. New seasons of “The Witcher,” “Emily in Paris,” “Queer Eye,” and “Cobra Kai” are all heading to the platform, not to mention the much-awaited second part of Money Heist’s final season is debuting this month.

Oh, and if you need something to fill that gaping hole that hilarious ensemble sitcoms used to occupy, maybe all nine seasons of “Seinfeld” can do the trick. After all, it cost Netflix $500 million to acquire the title.
