Hellbound dominates Netflix’s Top 10 list all over the world

And another Korean original series on Netflix is breaking records worldwide! On November 19, the content streaming giant dropped a new show called Hellbound, and it was poised to be Netflix’s next Squid Game. To the delight of fans around the world, it did not disappoint.

According to Netflix’s “Global TOP 10”, Hellbound accumulated a total of 43.48 million hours watched…THREE DAYS after its global release. Because of its popularity, it ranked first in the top 10 list of 12 countries including not only South Korea but also Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand. That is why as of November 24, Hellbound reached the top in Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list. How awesome, right?

If you’re one of the millions around the world who have seen the show, you probably know what it’s all about, but basically, Hellbound is a Netflix Series on supernatural events caused by otherworldly beings who appear out of nowhere to issue a decree and condemn individuals to hell, causing mayhem and enabling the religious group The New Truth to grow in power and clash with those trying to uncover the truth.

It was highly anticipated even before its global release. Interest in Korean content skyrocketed after Squid Game was introduced to the world. Plus, Director Yeon Sang-ho has already awed global audiences before with Train to Busan. The show also garnered a lot of praise in prestigious global film festivals, such as Toronto International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, and Busan International Film Festival.

Starring well-loved Korean stars, Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Park Jung-min, Won Jin-ah, and Yang Ik-june, Hellbound is a show you wouldn’t want to miss out on. That’s why you should start streaming the show today only on Netflix.
