‘Sex and the City’ makes TV return

Seventeen years after its last episode aired on TV, Sex and the City is set to return onscreen, HBO Max confirmed.

The latest chapter titled “And Just Like That…” the reboot will star the original cast Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. Unfortunately, Kim Cattrall, who played the character of Samantha Jones, won’t be joining the rebooted series.

HBO Max also confirmed that there will be 10 episodes for the revival of the series and the story will revolve around Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Charlotte York (Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Nixon) navigating their life in their 50s.

Parker and her co-stars shared a short teaser wherein she wrote, “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now?” as her caption.

The three lead stars will executive produce the series with Michael Patrick King.
