A BTS pop-up store is opening soon in the Philippines – and fans can’t wait to visit it! Well, who’s not excited anyway?
On Thursday, April 29, a mall located in Mandaluyong surprised Filipino fans of BTS when it suddenly shared a photo of what appears to be a store wrapped in a gigantic tarpaulin with a huge logo of the K-Pop superstars.
“Hi ARMY! Something Dynamite is opening soon at SM Megamall!” the mall wrote in a post on its official Facebook page.
The post instantly went viral, garnering more than 33,000 reactions, 19,000 comments, and 26,000 shares as of this writing.
Fans started guessing what the big surprise might be – with many speculating that it’s going to be a BTS POP UP: MAP OF THE SOUL just like the ones that opened in Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore. The said pop-up store offers exclusive BTS merchandise that’s not easy to find.
Wow. That’s one way for BTS to bring themselves closer to its fans especially during the pandemic, right?
Without a doubt, the biggest ARMYs in the world can be found in the Philippines. From hashtags supporting the group each time they come out with new music to celebrating new milestones in the boys’ career, PH ARMYs are always there to support them through and through.
So yes, it’s just fitting for the BTS POP: UP to find its way to the Philippines – if it really is a pop-up store, that is.
PH ARMYs are full surprises. But we won’t even be surprised if we see on the news one of these days long queues once it officially opens.
