Shakira left a comment on this Filipino dance group’s TikTok dance cover

Unless it’s simply for fun, the moment you decided to sign up on TikTok, you knew creating engaging content that would generate both views and reactions is one of the biggest challenges to gain a huge following and get noticed, to say the least. But quite frankly, hitting those numbers can be very challenging now more than ever especially since the competition has become even tougher for Tiktokerists out there.

But truth be told, you don’t need to have the kind of following your favorite celebrities have just to gain attention. Yep, you just have to work hard by creating unique content which shows your natural side. Or you’re one to draw inspiration from others, put your own spin to it.

Take a dance collective from the Province of Samar called Teambayan which has been getting waves in recent months. Well, for starters, the group has attracted fans and fellow TikTokerists for their on-point choreographies and dance covers on TikTok. In fact, TV networks like ABS-CBN and CNN Philippines featured Teambayan for creating dance covers showcasing pure Pinoy talent.

Just recently, Teambayan got the attention of Shakira a.k.a. the Queen of Latin Music for their Waka Waka dance cover. Yep, the one and only Shakira left a comment on their cover of the 44-year-old singer’s 2010 hit (which served as the official FIFA World Cup song that year).

Watch the video below:

Well, it may just be a simple emoji, but that’s definitely one way to inspire them to work even harder!
