Naomi Campbell is now a mother! The British supermodel announced the arrival of her first child via Instagram on May 18, 2021, just a few days before her 51st birthday. “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life,” Naomi said.

The new mom shared a photo of her baby’s feet resting on her hand, along with a sweet message for her daughter. “There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love,” she said.
Her friends sent their congratulations and left heartfelt messages on her post. Fashion designer Marc Jacobs said, “How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around.” Meanwhile, Zoe Saldana commented, “Oh my goodness, Congrats lady! What a blessing!!!”
Naomi’s mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell, shared the same photo on IG and expressed her joy with the birth of her granddaughter. “Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited a longtime to be [a] grandmother. â¤ï¸ðŸ˜”
Although this announcement came as a surprise, the 50-year-old model previously opened up about wanting to have kids in an interview with Vogue Arabia back in 2018. “I’d love to have kids. I don’t discount anything in life. I love kids and always will. When I’m around children, I become a child myself. That’s the little girl I don’t ever want to lose,” she said.
